MLA for Abbotsford–Mission | Deputy Whip & Critic for Children & Family Development 

Reann Gasper is a dedicated public servant and community advocate whose leadership is defined by integrity, compassion, and a deep commitment to the people she serves. As Deputy Whip, Reann plays a key role in fostering collaboration and ensuring that the voices of her constituents are heard and represented with fairness and respect.

In the Heart of the Community

Reann’s work is rooted in service. She believes that true leadership begins with listening — understanding the real needs of individuals and families, and responding with empathy and action. Known for her zero-tolerance stance against injustice and abuse of power, she approaches every issue with the conviction that government must always serve the public good.

Community Involvement

Reann has volunteered extensively with local organizations including Lydia House in Mission and various front-line outreach programs in Abbotsford. Her involvement with initiatives that support people experiencing homelessness reflects her lifelong belief that every individual deserves dignity and opportunity.

Leadership & Service

Throughout her career, Reann has brought people together to find common purpose and practical solutions. Her leadership experience spans business, faith, and community sectors — including roles on:

  • BNI Corridor Chapter, fostering small business collaboration and networking
  • Church Eldership Board, guiding community outreach and stewardship initiatives
  • Youth Theatre Movement Board, supporting youth development through the arts
  • Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, promoting ethics and professionalism in real estate practice
  • Electoral District Association, contributing to civic engagement and local organization

Professional Background & Education

Reann is a Licensed Real Estate Agent with the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board and holds a Diploma in Interior Design from LaSalle College. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry, along with diplomas in Worship and Creative Arts and a certificate in Pastoral Counselling. Her professional experience includes work in the public school system and leadership in creative arts ministry.

A Life of Service & Advocacy

Beyond her public role, Reann is a wife of 20 years, a mother of three, and a passionate advocate for social justice. She actively raises awareness and support for anti-human trafficking initiatives and organizations that empower at-risk women and families — both locally and abroad.
